Tax Refund Location:

Yuepan Guest Welcome Center, Bicester Village Shanghai (*Some brands offer in-store tax refund services. Please inquire with the store staff or the concierge at the Yuepan Guest Welcome Center.)

Tax Refund Eligibility：

Eligible Persons: Foreign visitors and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan- Residency

Requirement: Must not have resided in Mainland China for more than 183 days

Shopping Period: The date of purchase must be within 90 days of the departure date

Minimum Purchase: The total amount of tax-free goods purchased on the same day at the same tax refund store must reach CNY 500

Additional requirements for Instant Tax Refund Service:

Departure Period: Must leave Shanghai within 17 days (inclusive) after shopping

Maximum Purchase: The total amount of tax-free goods purchased on the same day at the same tax refund store must not exceed CNY 110,000

Travelers must bring their own credit card capable of pre-authorization for guarantee purposes. *Specifics are subject to confirmation by the Shanghai branch of the Bank of China.

Tax Refund Process:

1.Purchase: Buy tax-free goods at tax refund stores within Bicester Village Shanghai, and request a general VAT invoice and the "Application Form for Overseas Visitors.“

2. Apply: Visit the instant tax refund service center at the Yuepan Guest Welcome Center in Bicester Village Shanghai to complete the necessary procedures.

3.Receive Refund: After completing the tax refund procedures, overseas visitors can choose to receive the refund immediately (in cash) or upon departure.

 

Notes:

Upon departure, visitors must carry the unused tax-free goods for customs verification and submit the customs-verified and stamped “Refund Application Form for Overseas Visitors ” into the dedicated “Buy & Refund Tax Refund” mailbox at the refund point.

If the conditions for “Instant Tax Refund" are not met, the Shanghai branch of the Bank of China has the right to deduct the corresponding amount from the visitor's pre-authorized credit card. Visitors are responsible for any resulting fees.
